It has a 5 speed manual transmission with 5 gears. It lacks the leather seats which are seen in the other two variants. The weight of the sedan is 1200 Kg.

Corolla Altis 1.8GL (Petrol)

This four doored, five seater sedan has a 5 speed manual transmission with 5 gears. Features include Air Conditioning, Power Windows and Door Locks, AM/FM Radio, CD player and Leather Seats. The car weighs around 1215 kg and is slightly heavier than the Corolla Altis 1.8 GL.

Corolla Altis 1.8VL (Petrol)

This is a highly advanced version with a 4 – speed automatic transmission. The Corolla Altis 1.8VL has 4 gears as compared to the above mentioned variants and includes all the features common to the other variants. It weighs 1235 kg and is by far the heavier variant.
